Peacock Lane

Dear friends,

Please allow me to introduce you to Peacock Lane, my new fabric collection for Michael Miller Fabrics.

I just returned from Spring Quilt Market 2011 in Salt Lake City where I debuted the collection. This is little 'ol me standing in front of my display. I had a lot of help from some really great friends to get everything sewn on such short notice. I'll be posting more detailed photos and explanations of each of the projects in the coming weeks.

It has been so hard to keep Peacock Lane under wraps for so long and I am just so very excited to show you everything that I've been working on for the last year.

Peacock Lane is 24 prints divided into two colorways that all combine together beautifully. The first colorway, Cherry Chip, consists mostly of raspberry and cherry pinks grounded in chocolate browns.

The second colorway, Rainbow Sorbet, is a bright mix of colors with aqua blues, yellows and greens grounded in fabulous charcoal grays.

I have so many photos and projects to share with you. I can't wait!

  12. What a gorgeous line! I'm so glad you shared this. I'm still trying to decide what to do for my little girl's nursery when she's born in August, and I think I've finally found it! I am loving the elephants!

  16. Love "living" the quilt market with all the bloggers. I am from Green Bay Wisconsin, better known as the "Frozen Tundra" and would love those pink elephants - although they will need a quilt to keep warm here.

  17. Thank you all for the sweet comments. It sounds like we'll be shipping in the next two weeks! Jill - the red birds dress (Meadow in Pink) is mostly from the Kay Whitt pattern for McCall's M5882. I used the bodice almost exact (moved the zipper to the side) and I added in the waist band and added pockets to the skirt.
